Next in our program of blogs, this edition is all about setting up a temporary or not so temporary campsite. Something we do for farmers and land owners around the area when the festivals are in town.
With the right equipment and knowledge, you can have a fully functioning campsite in a matter of 48 hours. All you need is a great field, relatively flat is preferable, and some great technicians to provide all the electric, lighting and of course toilets and showers. Each caravan or tent area can have its own hook up for electric, every camper needs to charge their phone or even style their hair!!
Our qualified technicians, working to BS7909, work tirelessly to lay out metres and metres of cables to ensure that no camper goes without. Connecting these to lights and power points throughout the field. Making sure that every pathway and area is well lit, so people can easily and safely return to their beds. It’s important that it’s not too bright so sleepyheads can still get their forty winks.
All easily removable ready for livestock once the festival is over.
Should you want to install this permanently, the principles are the same. We would bury the cables in the ground and can even have a maintenance contract to regularly check equipment and replace lamps that might have blown throughout the year. This way your glamping site runs smoothly all year round.
So, if you want to ensure happy festival goers, or happy campers, then get in touch. We’re happy to use our expertise to help and make it a successful business for you.
